My Experience
Let me tell you my first experience with Flower names in Kannada(ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂವಿನ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು). I am not sure but probably I was 8 or 9 years old when I visited my aunt’s house for the first time in Karnataka. She had a beautiful garden in the back side of her house that is full of flowers. And then I noticed one thing that is the flower names felt really nice to me. I already know their English names but not Kannada names. She said they were part of her culture. That day, I learned how language help us connect with nature. I liked the connection between words and flowers.
